TRMBC – History

தி ரெகோபோத் மிஷன் பைபிள் காலேஜ் (The Rehoboth Mission Bible College) என்பது தமிழ்நாட்டில் கிறிஸ்தவ இறையியல் கல்வியை அஞ்சல் வழியிலும் (Correspondence), ஆன்லைன் மற்றும் நேரடி வகுப்புகள் மூலமாகவும் வழங்கி வரும் ஒரு கிறிஸ்தவ முன்னணி இறையியல் கல்வி நிறுவனமாகும்.

கோயம்புத்தூர் மாவட்டம், மேட்டுப்பாளையம் பகுதியில் தொடங்கப்பட்ட The Rehoboth Mission Bible College a non-profit theological educational institution. இந்த நிறுவனம், குறுகிய காலத்தில் நூற்றுக்கணக்கான ஊழியர்களுக்கும் விசுவாசிகளுக்கும் இறையியல் பட்டப்படிப்புகளையும் சான்றிதழ் பயிற்சிகளையும் வழங்கி வரலாற்றுச் சாதனை படைத்துள்ளது. ரெஹோபோத்” என்னும் எபிரேயச் சொல்லின் பொருள் “கர்த்தர் நமக்குச் விசாலமான இடத்தைக் கொடுத்தார், நாம தேசத்தில் பலுகுவோம்” (ஆதியாகமம் 26:22) என்பதாகும்.

21-ஆம் நூற்றாண்டின் தேவ ஊழியத்திற்கு ஏற்றவாறு, வேதாகமக் கோட்பாடுகளில் உறுதியும், ஆவிக்குரிய முதிர்ச்சியும், சுவிசேஷத் தாகமும் கொண்ட தலைவர்களையும் ஊழியர்களையும் உருவாக்கி அனைவருக்கும் சாத்தியமான இறையியல் கல்வி (Correspondence / Distance Education)
​தொலைதூரக் கல்வி (Correspondence Course) மூலம் போதகர்கள், சபை தலைவர்கள், குடும்பத் தலைவர்கள் மற்றும் பணியில் இருப்பவர்கள் ஆண்கள், பெண்கள், கல்லூரியில் படிப்பவர்கள் தங்களது அன்றாடப் பணிகளைப் பாதிக்காமல் வேதாகமக் கல்வியை எளிதாகக் கற்க வெறும் தியரி (Theory) படிப்பாக இல்லாமல், சபை மேய்ப்பு, நற்செய்தி அறிவிப்பு, ஆலோசனையளித்தல் (Counseling) மற்றும் தலைமைத்துவப் பண்புகளை நடைமுறைச் சேவைக்கு ஏற்றவாறு இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் மகா பிரதான கட்டளையின்படி, (Great Commission) உலகெங்கும் சுவிசேஷத்தைக் கொண்டு செல்லவும், புதிய சபைகளை ஸ்தாபிக்கவும் திறம்பட்ட ஊழியர்களைத் “இறைவார்த்தையில் ஆழமான அடித்தளம், ஆவிக்குரிய முதிர்ச்சி, மற்றும் சுவிசேஷத் தாகம் கொண்ட தலைவர்களைத் தொலைதூரக் கல்வி வழியாக உருவாக்கி, உலகெங்கும் தேவ ராஜ்யத்தைக் கட்டுவதே எமது தரிசனமும் முதன்மையான நோக்கமும் ஆகும்.”

Statement Of Faith

1. The Bible
   We believe that the Holy Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. They are the final authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian living (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:21).
2. The Trinity
   We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
3. Jesus Christ
   We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory (John 1:1-4; Philippians 2:5-11; Hebrews 1:1-4).
4. Salvation
   We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is a free gift of God, received by repentance and faith, not by works (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:9-10).
5. The Holy Spirit
   We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He regenerates, indwells, empowers, and equips believers for godly living and service (John 16:8-13; Galatians 5:22-23; Acts 1:8).
6. The Church
   We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the Head. The Church is composed of all believers and exists to glorify God, edify believers, and make disciples of all nations (Ephesians 1:22-23; Matthew 28:19-20).
7. Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
   We believe in two ordinances: Baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith in Christ (Matthew 28:19). The Lord’s Supper, commemorating His death and resurrection (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
8. Eternal Destiny
   We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the saved to eternal life and the lost to eternal separation from God in hell (John 5:28-29; Revelation 20:11-15).
9. Christian Living
   We believe that Christians are called to live holy and blameless lives, demonstrating Christ-like character through love, compassion, and obedience to God’s Word (Galatians 5:22-23; 1 Peter 1:15-16).
10. The Return of Christ
    We believe in the imminent and visible return of Jesus Christ to establish His kingdom. We anticipate the fulfillment of God’s promises to His people and the restoration of all creation (Acts 1:11; Revelation 21:1-4).

Executive Members

Our TRMBC is a non-profit theological educational institution. Some of our TRMBC employees have studied theology not only locally or abroad but also at our TRMBC and have obtained degrees. They are men and women who are filled with the Holy Spirit, knowledgeable in the Scriptures, have spiritual experience, are soul winners, Bible teachers, church pastors, and are full of leadership qualities that inspire others. They are serving God in TRMBC as primary educational officers and registrars.
